Russell Short

Russell graduated in 2006 with a Diploma in Therapeutic Massageand  Commenced work with Recreation Physiotherapy and Massage in 2006.  Having trained and competed for over twenty years in elite sport as a Paralympic Athlete, Russell brings a wealth of personal experience and understanding of bio-mechanics and injury management to his treatments. As well as his own knowledge and work experience, Russell has been exposed to and treated by some of the best practitioners available to Australian athletes. Russell is a member of the Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT). He was awarded the esteemed Edwin Flack medal in 2016 by Athletics Australia and in 2021 had a national Athletics Awared named after him. Russell has a huge following of loyal patients who not only benefit from his exceptional skills but also enjoy his light hearted nature.
